The 2012 Change Your World (CYW) Youth Leadership Tour took place from July 29-August 11, 2012.  Accompanied by the experienced staff from Sombrilla International Development Society and the Alberta Council for Global Cooperation, the tour traveled with 5 Alberta youth to Sombrilla’s partner community of Yurac Yacu, in the highlands of Peru. The Alberta youth were paired with Peruvian indigenous youth and they spent two weeks living, learning, and sharing with each other. The youth will be making a documentary of their experiences to share with their classmates, other schools, and with the broader Alberta community.

The first video was put together by Scott Parker, and documents the tour orientation weekend that took place in Calgary, AB, before the youth left for Peru.

Meet Julie, Ross, Kianna, Sarah, and Chance!
